Puppy Groom

This is a gentle introduction to being professionally groomed. Your puppy will be introduced to all the grooming tools and odd sensations slowly and with plenty of treats and positive reinforcement. I guarantee the puppy will have a nail trim and a bath, whether we can fully blow dry them or do a haircut will depend on your puppy’s comfort level. If you have an adult dog who needs a similar introduction feel free to let us know during booking and we would be happy to accommodate you.

Nail Trims

I do nail trims with both nail clippers or with an electric file.

Short Coated

This includes dogs with a short flat coat. Examples include, pit bulls, boston terriers, great danes, and grey hounds.

Double Coated

This refers to a dog who has a soft under coat, and a coarser outer coat. This includes huskies, newfoundlands, golden retrievers, labs, corgis, and similar coats.

Curly Coated

Pretty self-explanatory, the hair is curly. Most in this group have continuously growing hair, like poodles, and bichons.

Natural Long Coated

Use this option if you have a dog whose coat naturally grows to the floor and you are choosing to keep them in a full show coat. Examples include maltese, shih tzus, old english sheep dogs, and afghan hounds. If you have a dog with this type of coat, but keep it cut shorter please select the medium coat length option.
